The PAWS Clinic
The PAWS Clinic also operates as a fully functional non-profit veterinary clinic. By having local pet owners using our services, we are able to generate small revenues which are all put back into PAWS and allow us to conduct numerous field clinics around the island each month.

With extensive, international experience across of range of specialisms including Skin Care and Bone and Structural surgery, your pets are in the very best of hands. Mobile Clinics
On-site Support
The majority of the charity work carried out by PAWS is done in conjunction with the mobile clinics. These clinics are able to get into the temples and down to the beaches to carry out spay and neuter operations on-site, rather than transporting the animals from one location to another.
Education
The mobile clinics can also be used to visit local schools to educate children on the care and control of both stray and pet animals, as well as local community leaders to educate them on the care and control of strays. By having a focal point of contact in the field, we can obtain public support to collect animals for treatment and release and to lobby the local and central government for better and more humane controls and management for stray animals in Phuket and Thailand.
Trained Staff
The mobile clinics are all staffed by full-time vet and clinical assistants, who are trained in the preparation of animals for surgery and simple medical techniques. The on-going field clinics are necessary if we are to be successful in the control of the stray animal population on the Island of Phuket.
Anywhere
Field Clinics can take place anywhere, at any time – on beaches, in temples, on remote islands, in villages, in schools. You name it; we’ve carried out a field clinic there. We have even carried out a field clinic INSIDE a human hospital!
Our Team
Our fully qualified veterinary team are on hand to take care of your pets – whether its a simple check up, or something more extensive – you can rest assured your pets are in the safest hands possible.
